Biography

A Melbourne-based actor with an instinct for finding colour in the ordinary, Lucas is drawn to characters who exude vulnerability and honesty while remaining unmistakably human. From a shy, well-meaning young man who feeds his true love to a carnivorous plant in a musical comedy, to a charismatic twenty-something whose romance with his best friend’s sister threatens their lifelong friendship in a dramedy series, Lucas brings an unpredictable spark that keeps audiences wanting more.

Trained at The Australian College of the Arts, where he earned a bachelor’s degree in performing arts, Lucas applies his classical training to an ever-evolving industry, working confidently across diverse performance environments. Most recently, he has taken on the role of Aeschylus’ legendary King Agamemnon in a powerful and confronting adaptation of The Oresteia, alongside a leading role in the upcoming television series Friendships Last Forever, currently set to premiere in mid-2027.

When Lucas isn’t in front of the camera or on stage, he can usually be found attempting to channel his inner Billy Joel at the piano or Roger Federer on the tennis court. Having developed much of his early craft through theatre, Lucas is increasingly focused on screen performance and building a body of work across film and television.
